This house was inhabited by the family of the teacher and Boy-Scout member Jan Zelenka Hajský, who was hiding paratroopers from England during WWII. Jan Zelenka Hajský was an active resistance fighter, who – among other things – closely cooperated with Josef Gabčík and Jan Kubiš in the preparation of the assassination of Heydrich. He committed suicide in the course of his arrest on 17 June, 1942, one day before the final fight of the paratroopers in the Cyril and Methodius Church in Resslova Street.
